SIEBENBRGEN: New Album Delayed
May 5, 2008"Revelation VI", the new album from Swedish melodic black metallers SIEBENBRGEN, has had its release date pushed back to June 13 from the previously announced May 30 (via Massacre Records).

"Revelation VI" was recorded at Studio 301 in Stockholm and Sonic Train in Varberg and is the group's first to feature guitarist Joakim Ohlsson and vocalist Lisa Bohwalli Simonsson. Singer Marcus Ehlin previously stated, "Our first decision was to exclude the female parts in our music, but after hearing Lisa's voice, we changed our minds."

SIEBENBRGEN split up in February 2006, explaining at the time that "after 12 years, we sadly don't have the energy and inspiration to take the band any further and it would be wrong to us and to our fans to continue without the passion that SIEBENBRGEN deserve."
SIEBENBRGEN's fifth album, "Darker Designs & Images", was released in 2005 via Napalm Records.
